IS ROCK THE PARK GOING AHEAD IN 2021?
At present the event is going ahead as planned. The event will only go ahead if safe to do so.
WHAT IF ROCK THE PARK 2021 IS CANCELLED?
If the event is unable to take place in 2021 the event will be postponed and rescheduled to August 2022. If you have already purchased your ticket then your ticket will be automatically transferred to the new dates 2022.
IF ROCK THE PARK 2021 IS CANCELLED CAN I GET A REFUND?
Rock the park wont be cancelled entirely. The same event along with the artists already booked will be moved to a new date and will still take place, just on another date. As per the terms & conditions tickets are non-refundable. Should the event be postponed your tickets will be transferred for free to the new dates so you will not lose your money or miss out. Your tickets will be valid for the new dates chosen.
CAN I GET A REFUND?
The terms & conditions clearly state tickets are non-refundable.
CAN I CHNAGE THE NAME ON MY TICKET?
Names on tickets can be changed by logging into your Eventbrite account > go to my tickets > edit details. If you do not have an Eventbrite account, then create one using the same details including the same email you used when buying you tickets. Your tickets will then be waiting for you in your account.
HOW DO I BUY A TICKET?
Tickets can be purchased on the "TICKETS" page. Please read the T&C's before buying your ticket.
WHEN WILL MY TICKET ARRIVE?
Rock the Park operates a paperless ticketing system to help protect the environment. Once purchased tickets are emailed to the email address you input when purchasing your tickets. This is done immediately after booking and should arrive in your inbox almost immediately.
WHO IS THE TICKET AGENT?
Eventbrite is Rock the Park's official and only ticketing partner.
DO I NEED TO PRINT MY TICKET OFF?
Your ticket can either be printed off or you can download the Eventbrite app (available on Android & IOS) and show your ticket on your phone. Please ensure your phone is working and your screen has no cracks or dirt as the ticket wont scan. (We advise you bring a paper version as a backup as if your phone fails you will not be able to gain entry.
DO YOU HAVE DISABLED / BLUE BADGE PARKING?
Disabled parking spaces are available and are located as close to the festival entrance as possible. The entrance is located around 30m from the carpark. Show your badge or proof to carpark marshals on arrival and they will direct you on where to park.
DO YOU HAVE ACCESSIBLE TOILETS?
There are male and female accessible portable toilets and attendants are on hand if needed. The portable toilets are large enough to accommodate a wheelchair or scooter.
I SUFFER FROM EPILEPSY WHAT LIGHTING IS USED?
You are advised that flicker, laser and heavy use of strobe and other lighting effects will be used throughout.
WHAT ARE THE GROUND CONDITIONS LIKE FOR CHAIRS / SCOOTERS?
The festival takes place on a flat grass field and is open to the elements so we do suggest if you are in a chair or scooter appropriate wheels are fitted if possible, especially if rain has been forecast.
DO YOU HAVE A RAISED VIEWING PLATFORM?
Unfortunately due to the layout of the site a viewing platform is not available at this event. The ground however offers a sloped view (natural amphitheatre) towards the stage.
I NEED TO TAKE MEDICATION WITH ME?
If you need to bring medication with you, we recommend bringing a doctor’s note or a prescription for it if it is not easily recognisable to our gate staff. ID must be present at all times.
DO YOU HAVE DISCOUNTED CARER TICKETS AVAILABLE?
Carers tickets are available at a cheaper rate. Proof will be needed to gain entry to the festival. To book this you will need to book a standard adult ticket for yourself, and your carer is to book a teen ticket on all ticket types regardless of ages. This gives the carer a discount.
DO YOU HAVE SHOWERS?
Onsite showers are available for just £2 per person.
WHAT TIME CAN WE ARRIVE ONSITE IF WE ARE CAMPING?
Campers staying onsite (Tents & Caravans) can arrive from:
- 4pm until 9pm Thursday 5th August
- 12noon until 9pm on Friday 6th August
- 11am until 6pm on Saturday 7th August
- 11am until 6pm on Sunday 8th August
CAN I BRING MY DOG?
No pets are allowed onsite. If any animals are found onsite you will be asked to leave. (Service dogs exempt, you may be asked to provide proof)
CAN I PARK MY CAR NEXT TO MY TENT?
All tented campers must park in the main carpark. No vehicles are allowed in the tented section of the campsite.
CAN I BRING MY OWN FOOD / DRINK / ALCOHOL (CAMPSITE ONLY)?
If you are camping onsite you are allowed to bring your own food / drink and alcohol. This can only be consumed within the campsite area and can not be taken in the festival arenas. Anyone caught doing so will be asked to leave the event and campsite. Alcohol / food must only be consumed by you and must not be sold or given to other campers. The campsite will feature a late night bar and food outlets selling breakfast, lunch & dinner.
CAN I LEAVE / RE-ENTER THE CAMPSITE / FESTIVAL ARENA?
If you are camping onsite you are allowed to enter / leave the campsite and arenas as many times as you want. Every time you re-enter the arenas you must under go a full search by onsite police / security.
ARE THERE ANY AGE RESTRICTIONS?
There are no age restrictions but anyone under 18 years must be accompanied by an adult 18 years +
WHAT ID IS ACCEPTED?
We accept driving licences, passport or the bank card used to purchase the tickets.
IS THERE PARKING ONSITE?
There is lots of free parking onsite. We accept no responsibility whilst your car is on our site. Cars are left at the owns risk.
IS THERE ANY CASHPOINTS?
There are no cash points onsite but most food vendors, token booths and bars accept card payments.
CAN I BRING MY OWN ALCOHOL / SOFT DRINKS?
No. No drinks of any kind can be taken onto the festival arenas. There are plenty of bars and food outlets onsite selling a wide variety of soft drinks and alcoholic drinks at reasonable prices including real ales, cider, lager, wines, spirits & cocktails. This excludes 1 x sealed plastic bottle water per person which is allowed. Onsite police / secuirty will ask you to open this so they can confirm it is not alcohol. All bags, coats, jackets etc.. are searched on arrival. No exceptions. There is also a waterpoint located at the main entrance (Ticket booths).
CAN I BRING MY OWN FOOD?
Sorry no food can be taken into the event. There are plenty of catering units onsite. We have a huge selection of world foods for you to choose from. There will also be a choice of Dessert & Sweet units. Vegan & Vegetarian options also available. Baby food exempt.
CAN I BRING A CHAIR?
Folding camping chairs are allowed. Please be sensible, do not bring your 3 piece sofa.
CAN I LEAVE AND RE-ENTER?
No. Strictly no leaving and re-entering (per day). Once you leave the festival for the day you cannot return and be re-admitted on the same day.
