Voted 'Wales Best Festival' in 2019 Rock the Park returns for its 5th year in August 2021. Set in the heart of North Wales just outside Wrexham. You are surrounded by the stunning Welsh countryside.
BIGGEST & BEST IN WALES
Rock the Park festival has won numerous awards including 'Wales Best Festival' in 2019. With around 30,000 people attending over the weekend Rock the Park has grown to be one of the largest festivals in Wales. The festival is so popular for the last two years we have completely sold out prior to the event taking place.
SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE
Rock the Park has something for everyone. We bring together original dance artists and the worlds best tribute acts, fly them them in from all over the globe and throw them all together into a jam packed weekend featuring a variety of music & genres not seen at any UK festival.
MORE THAN JUST MUSIC
Although music is at the forefront and at the very heart of our festival, it is so much more than just a music festival. Featuring a motorbike stunt shows, UK first nigh time air show, family funfair, live entertainment, and so much more!
VALUE FOR MONEY
Compared to other UK festivals similar in size and capacity, Rock the Park offers unbeatable value for money without cutting corners or cutting back on the experience on offer. Rock the Park offers some the cheapest festival tickets in the UK whilst providing the very best experience (our reviews tell us) rivals that of the biggest UK festivals. Under 12's also go FREE to Rock the Park offering families fantastic value for money. (T&C's apply).
CAMP IN LUXURY OR ROUGH IT OUT IN A TENT
Rock the Park features a large onsite campsite which can cater for tents or camper vans and caravans. For those looking for a bit more luxury why not treat yourself and go VIP and book our exclusive onsite glamping pods. These are provided & managed onsite by our partner Bellows Glamping.
STUFF YOUR FACE OR QUENCH YOUR THIRST
The festival features a wide variety of world foods, showcasing vendors selling authentic Mexican, American Indian, Italian, Chinese, Thai, Caribbean and the very best British foods. Along with hot food vendors there will also be a variety of dessert & sweet units available selling everything from Ice cream, Waffles, Pancakes, Brownies & Cakes. Breakfast units selling the world's best bacon baps (in our opinion) are available for our onsite campers. Most onsite caterers also cater to many dietary requirements.
Alongside our world foods the festival also features many onsite bars. Selling everything from the finest locally sourced lagers, ciders & wines, we also have cocktails bars, VIP bars & spirit bars. Soft drinks / non-alcoholic drinks are also available at all of our bars and food units.
Onsite Parking is FREE at our festival. Located right next to our main entrance (no long and lengthy walks like other UK festivals). En-route to the event signage is available to direct you to onsite parking. Car park marshals are also available to help and assist with parking. Disabled parking available (please present your blue badge upon arrival). A drop off zone and taxi rank will also be available. (Please follow signs for these on arrival). There will be plenty of parking available, We therefore ask you refrain from parking in or around main roads and instead use the carpark's provided.
On arrival to Rock the Park festival disabled parking spaces are available and are located as close to the festival entrance as possible. The entrance is located around 30m from the carpark. The festival takes place on a flat grass field and is open to the elements so we do suggest if you are in a chair or scooter appropriate wheels are fitted is possible, especially if rain has been forecast. There are male and female accessible portaloo toilets and attendants are on hand if needed. A power point can be made available for customers who may need to charge their electrical wheelchair or scooter. This is available on the ticket gate. We regret that there is no induction loop facility at this event. You are advised that flicker, laser and heavy use of strobe and other lighting effects will be used throughout. If you need to bring medication with you, we recommend bringing a doctor’s note or a prescription for it if it is not easily recognisable to our gate staff. ID must be present at all times. Unfortunately due to the layout of the site a viewing platform is not available at this event. The ground however offers a sloped view (natural amphitheatre) towards the stage. Carers tickets are available at a cheaper rate. Proof will be needed to gain entry to the festival. To book this you will need to book a standard adult ticket for yourself, and your carer is to book a teen ticket on all ticket types regardless of ages. This gives the carer a discount.
